Cristiano Ronaldo is Suspended for these five matches

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo is suspended for five games for his red card and pushing of refree.

Cristiano Ronaldo is banned for next five games.

He was given a one-match ban for being shown two yellow cards and a further four for pushing the referee in the back.

During the first leg of the Spanish Supercopa, Ronaldo scored a fantastic goal to give Real Madrid a 2-1 lead late in the match. He proceeded to do the exact same celebration that lionel Messi did to mock Real Madrid fan's.He was booked for taking off his shirt.

Two minutes later Real Madrid were on the counter attack and Ronaldo tumbled in the box.The referee blew the whistle but instead of giving a penalty he booked Ronaldo again for a dive and he was sent off for second yellow.

Cristiano Ronaldo will be able to play in the Champions League but will not return to domestic action until 20 September.

These are the five matches he will not feature:

Barcelona (H)
Deportivo (A)
Valencia (H)
Levante (H)
Real Sociedad (A)

"Ronaldo's sending-off annoys me because even if it is not a penalty, the card is harsh," said Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane after the game. "We will see if we can do something so that he is available on Wednesday."

It was Ronaldo's 10th red card of his career.

"Once shown the red card, said player (Ronaldo) pushed me lightly as a sign of his disapproval," the referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea wrote in his post-match report.

Do you think it was an harsh decision ??? Do let us know in comments section.
